“Chinatown Street”, a venue to meet Chinese culture and dishes
The Chinatown Street is always crowded. There you can see well-preserved Chinese style stores and houses in an exotic atmosphere and taste traditional Chinese dishes made directly by the overseas Chinese who speak both Korean and Chinese.
Thanks to the success of Gonghwachun that began selling a dish called Jajangmyeon, Noodles with Black Soybean Sauce, the overseas Chinese started to open Chinese restaurants such as Junghwaru, Dongheungru, etc. Consequently, Incheon has been home to Chinese dishes.
