Wolmi Park
“Wolmisan” sunset viewed through the dense woods
In spring, cherry blossoms take over the streets along the trail, creating a magnificent sight. Wolmido Island in the coastal waters of Incheon is viewed at a glance from the Wolmido summit, which is the best place to enjoy glow of the setting sun. In addition to this sunset, an uninterrupted view of the panorama plus diverse wild plants can be enjoyed.
Citizens could not access Wolmi Park for 50 years because of the presence of military forces, but it was open to the public after it was reborn as a park in 2001. Natural ecosystems are well preserved in Wolmisan so that a variety of wild plants can be observed.
