North Port

North Port allows a total of 17 ships including a 50,000-ton ship to simultaneously be berthed through Bukseong-dong and Wonchang-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon. This port is designed to handle cargo containing industrial materials such as timber, scrape iron, byproducts for feed necessary in nearby factories.

Project goals

The first goal of this project is to boost the efficient operation of Incheon Port by supporting hinterland complexes and directly dealing with non-processed cargo in demand areas.
The second goal is to expand port facilities in order to resolve the chronic demurrage issues and freight congestion of Incheon Port.
