Located inside the lock, Inner Port has capacity for berthing 48 ships with piers designed for automobiles, grain, general cargo, etc. including Korea’s first container pier. Some of its facilities are expected to be redeveloped as a space for Incheon citizens to relax.

Project goals

As a base port designed to increase exchanges among China, Southeast Asian countries, and North Korea, it will be reborn as the hub of international logistics in the Pan Yellow Sea Region.
