The lock of Incheon Port is the 1st floodgate type dock in Korea and the largest floodgate type dock in Asia, having been constructed in 1974 with the purpose of helping ships overcome a large tidal range of up to 10 meters so that they could move in and out of the port around the clock. This lock has historical and educational value, so it is deemed a meaningful tourist spot from the industrial and historical viewpoints.
- 1st floor Welcome Space : This space is to let people know the distances between Incheon port and famous ports around the world. You can take commemorative photos at a photo zone with Incheon Port’s mascots, Haeryongi and Haerini.
